Kana-a-Day Practice Pad

"An enticing method to daily progress in the study of Japanese script."
says Wolfgang Hadamitzky, author of A Guide to Writing Kanji and Kana

Companion to the Kanji-a-Day Practice Pad, this pad is for home or office use and will be invaluable to all beginners who wish to learn or reinforce their ability to read and write kana. The pad introduces one new kana on each new sheet: 48 hiragana characters, 48 katakana characters, and hundreds of variant characters that are formed by sound changes or combinations of characters. The kana to be learned is presented in large, bold type, along with the reading and stroke order. Spaces are provided around the edge of the sheet for the learner to practice the kana as many times as needed. After a few minutes of practice each day, the sheet is simply torn off and thrown away. 218 pages of kana in all.

Popular cartoonist Paul Nowak provides humorous and motivational illustrations.
